The “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” (PX3)

The “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” (PX3) strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris. A selection of work from this competition is displayed in Paris and the winners are published in the PX3 Annual Book. Juried by leading editors, publishers, curators, gallery owners, consultants, creative directors, and art directors, PX3 brings the best of photography from across the globe to Paris.

 My print was awarded Gold in Nature/Flowers, 1st Place winner in Nature, and Best New Talent

Public opening reception for The Sweep of Time: Beyond the Horizon, accompanied by three lens-based solo exhibitions.

The Sweep of Time, Beyond the Horizon offers a way of seeing that resists the urgency of the immediate. By presenting diverse lens-based works that embody continuity and expanded vision, the exhibition fosters reflection, patience, and a deeper sense of orientation within time.

An exhibition of prints by Bromoil artist PJ Sturdevant will be on display in the A. B. Cohen Gallery on the Campus of Xavier University from October 20th through November 17th 2023.

An artist’s reception will be held October 25th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Normal gallery hours are from 10:00 pm – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Nature In Focus

Cincinnati Nature Center is hosting our annual photography exhibition in the Rowe Visitor CenterAuditorium from August 31 – September 8, 2019. “Nature in Focus” is a juried exhibit featuring selected photographs. I have several Bromil prints in this exhibit and several for sale in the shop.

Open Archive emphasizes the centrality of photography and lens-based art to modernism, and it examines our fundamental need to preserve photographs and to tell stories through their collection, organization, and interpretation.
